Statement
I take digital photos in scenic areas and then manipulate the photos in the computer intensifying and adjusting colors and creating multiple overlays combined at various levels of transparency. The final images can be displayed virtually as projections, printed onto various substrates or published online.
These digital media works combine Artificial Intelligence editing features with traditional digital photos. AI edits can be quite original and can be used on images subtly or very intensely. AI options are as diverse as traditional digital methods. They can transform images so that the subject appears convincingly real but significantly altered or very surreal. AI gives digital artists more possibilities for producing original works. It adds a new type of art creativity and will undoubtedly become a mainstream method of editing images.
